Relax in a quiet Pebble Beach neighborhood convenient to all attractions and an easy walk to shopping or to The Inn at Spanish Bay. Stay for a fraction of the cost of a hotel with much more room and all the amenities of home. Golf, of course! But there's so much more: Tennis, trails for riding or hiking, beaches galore, cool summers and mild winters, wildflowers, fabulous restaurants - they're all within minutes of your home away from home. Do you like it a little luxurious? Sleep on 400 TC Egyptian cotton bedding, and dine on a full set of Villeroy and Boch porcelain. After a day of activities, relax by one of the crackling fireplaces (even in August) or stroll down to The Inn at Spanish Bay to watch the bagpiper pipe down the sun over The Links

Hungry? Need something?
Take a short walk through the forest to a charming small commercial center. Have the best tacos north of Guadalajara at Michael's Taqueria. Find whatever wine suits you at the Wine Market. Lazy but don't want to go to a restaurant? "Dinner's Ready" is takeout with style. And our favorite coffee house is there, too: "Black Forest Coffee". There's a small supermarket, too! Want to get rid of the kids for a little while? There's even a McDonalds nestled in the pine trees. Are you a Trader Joe's fan? There's one just outside the Country Club gate! Whole Foods is about a five minute drive.

What a nice house!
That's what we hear most often from our satisfied guests. 2000 square feet of living area, three bedrooms, one en suite shower and one hall bathroom with a tub. A large living room / library and a family room, too. Both have woodburning fireplaces. The roomy kitchen shares a breakfast counter with the family room. There's a laundry room and an oversized two-car garage. Digital surround entertainment with a new 40" HDTV, cable and broadband WiFi will keep you entertained and in touch while you stay.

And what a nice outdoors!
The graceful patio is furnished for entertainment, or for just enjoying a quiet cup of coffee in your PJ's. You and your guests can wander between the patio and the house via three sets of welcoming French doors. You'll enjoy the forest setting with mature Monterey pine trees and coast live oaks around the yard. Wildlife abounds and our hummingbirds are the best fed in the neighborhood. So are our deer - and I wish it were otherwise.

Where is it?
The house is very near the Country Club Gate into Pacific Grove, in the "Country Club" area of Pebble Beach. You can walk or take a very short drive to every convenience yet you will maintain a sense of rural solitude for which Pebble Beach is known. Restaurants, coffee houses, and small supermarkets are nearby, as is Trader Joe's. Enjoy the burgeoning art community in Pacific Grove, or drive across The Forest to Carmel for more expensive fare. You will be in Del Monte Forest, part of Monterey County and it is patrolled by both county enforcement and Pebble Beach's own large security force. It is very safe. Permission is required to enter the gates at Pebble Beach.

Medical Professionals: If you are serving temporarily at Community Hospital or if you are relocating, you will be in the most convenient of locations for access to the hospital, just a few minutes' drive.

o Two couples decided to vacation together and chose this lovely property in which to stay. The specifics: The beds were VERY comfortable with coordinated bedding; the kitchen was stocked awaiting only the corking of our personal beverage of choice; the birds sang to us in the morning with our coffee and in the evening during cocktail hour while we sat on the beautiful patio. The proximity is such that Pacific Grove and Monterey are only minutes south and Carmel and Big Sur the same going north. I HIGHLY recommend this property and its owner. Mr. Ford could not have been more pleasant or easier to deal with. We'll be back!

o Kudos to the owners of this residence for creating such a great home away from home for families! Location is within the exclusive 17 mile drive of Pebble Beach providing for beautiful views, peaceful walks and easy access to the rest of the Monterey Bay area. Interior of home is even better than described and captured in photos. The outside patio is perfect for morning coffee and dusk time glass of wine. Perfect (and safe!) for families with little ones. Kitchen is "over stocked" compared to most vacation homes and any cook will be pleased with the amenities. Lastly, the price is extremely reasonable and owners easy to work with. We hope this home is available on our next trip...
